A sample chronology, from a synthetic brief.
This is what Trenthos IME produced from an invented workers’ compensation psychiatry brief. Nothing in the chronology was written or edited by hand. Click any entry to open the page it came from, with the quoted words highlighted.
Not a real person. The brief was generated by a program for testing Trenthos IME. Every person, provider, employer, insurer, address and number in it is invented, and every page image below carries the label “Sample: synthetic brief, not a real person”. Any resemblance to a real person is coincidence.
This sample shows a paid matter, as the examiner receives it: the documents are not redacted; quotes are kept exactly as printed, names included, and entries refer to the claimant as “the worker”. On a free trial, identifying details are redacted before the chronology is built, so trial output looks different.
How to read this sample
- Entries are in date order. Entries with no date of their own come last, grouped by document.
- Each entry is drawn from one page, or sometimes two, and quotes the words it came from. Click it to open that page.
- An entry marked Read by AI, not confirmed comes from a scanned page that an AI model read. Its quoted words are in that reading, but a second, independent reading of the page did not confirm them, so check the page.
- An entry marked Quote not found on page has quoted words the app’s check could not confirm on the page it cites. Its quote is shown without a highlight, as in the app. Check the page before relying on it.
- The chronology is an aid to reading the records, not a substitute for them. The examiner decides what is relevant and forms the opinion.
One flagged mismatch
The app checks each entry against its page and flags what an examiner should look at. This sample shows one of the checks it raised on this brief.

Pages not fully read
The app lists every page it did not fully read, so you know where to read the records yourself. Nothing from the lines it did not read is in the chronology.

How the highlight is placed
The app highlights a quote by finding its words on the page: in the page’s text, or on a scanned page, in the words its text recognition found. This sample does the same ahead of time. Where the words cannot be found on the image, no box is drawn and the quote is shown in full instead. That happens for 12 of the 514 page links here: 10 on scanned or handwritten pages, and the 2 entries marked “Quote not found on page”, which the app also shows without a highlight.
